The Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has directed the dissolution of Chief Executives of all Boards, Commissions, Agencies and Parastatals with immediate effect.
This is coming less that 24-hours after the State Executive Council and all other political appointees were dissolved ahead of the Governor’s second term inauguration.
In a Statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Usman Jidda Shuwa said the relieve of appointments excludes Heads of statutory Boards and Parastatals.
Also affected by the dissolution includes all Directors General, Executive Secretaries, Executive Directors and General Managers of Agencies and Parastatals in the state.
The Governor also directed all officials concerned to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or most senior Director in the Agency.
He thanked the outgoing Executive Council members and Chief Executives of Organisations for their support and contribution to the development of the state in the last four years.
