Some women under the aegis of Proclaim Nigeria Women Initiative have converged on Abuja to pray for the success of the incoming administration led by Senator Bola Tinubu.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen emphasized the need for Nigerian women to join hands to build the country irrespective of their religion or political leaning.
The Director General of Proclaim Nigeria Women Initiative, Dr Kilani Mohammed said the program is aimed at mobilising women from various parts of the country to intercede for the nation to overcome its post-election divisions.
Dr Kilani explained that the program was usually organized during transition periods to prayerfully usher in new administrations.

A program officer with the organisation, Comrade Bature Mercy said the initiative would be sustained to safeguard the future of the nation through motherly prayers.
