Speaking at a dinner on Sunday, at the Aso Rock Villa, President-Elect, BolaTinubu emphasised the importance of combating corruption, poverty, and other issues afflicting the country.
The former Lagos governor expressed his willingness to seek counsel from outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari regarding governance.
Acknowledging Nigeria’s past struggles, he emphasized the country’s resilience and unity amidst diversity.

“I congratulate my fellow Nigerians who recognize the significance of their power and votes,” Buhari said.
During the event, Aisha Buhari, the president’s wife, along with vice-president-elect Kashim Shettima and incoming first lady Remi Tinubu, unveiled a book titled “Renewed Hope, Greater Together.”
