Nigeria will witness renewed hope as captured in President Ahmed Tinubu’s campaign slogan and his inaugural speech; where he promised Nigerians that he will govern and not rule them says the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Gbajabiamila hailed the President for his sagacity, resilience, determination, and commitment to Nigeria’s democracy for over three decades, which were crowned by his election on February 25 as Nigeria’s 16th President.
With his inauguration, Mr. Gbajabiamila said, Nigeria has taken off on a good footing after the administration of outgoing president, Muhammadu Buhari.
According to the Speaker, President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima are well prepared for the task ahead, hence, he is confident they will not disappoint Nigeria and Nigerians.
CAN prays for President Tinubu
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has felicitated with the new President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he assumes office.
In a Statement on Monday, the CAN President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh wished President Tinubu special grace and Strength towards taking the nation to greater heights.
It acknowledged that Nigeria was facing numerous challenges that require strong decisions for lasting solutions and urged President Tinubu to give priority to security, economy, youth and women development.
The National Christian Body also urged Nigerians to come together with a spirit of unity and a great sense of accommodation to form a potent force with maximum support for the new government.
Tinubu a prepared leader-Omoluabi socio-cultural group
A Socio-Cultural and Political Group, Omoluabi Team Alliance has expressed optimism in the new President Bola Tinubu to tackle the challenges facing the Nation headlong within the shortest period of time.
In a congratulatory message, the group’s spokesperson Comrade Olamide Akinwunmi advised the President to hit the ground running as a prepared leader whose preference over other aspirants was based on his outstanding qualities as he is noted to posses the competence, capacity, tenacity and confidence to deliver on his heard earned mandate.
ICRC wants President to apply PPP model for infrastructure development
Also, the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) says the victory of this administration is for the continuation of infrastructure development in Nigeria.
In a Congratulatory message to President Bola Tinubu, the Director General of the Commission, Michael Ohiani expressed optimism that Public Private Partnerships would be deployed more to enable the country to improve her infrastructure situation under the new Government.
He said his optimism was premised on the antecedents of the President as governor of Lagos State, when he revolutionised the infrastructure stock in the state; conceptualised the Lekki Free Trade Zone which now showcases the Lekki Deep Sea Port, the Dangote Refinery and many other world-class infrastructure facilities.
