Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has described Arsenal of England star winger, Bukayo Saka as his “favourite striker”.
Governor Sanwo-Olu wrote on his Twitter handle that the 22-year-old England international, who has strong roots in Nigeria, has shown that with determination, one could “rise to the top”.
He said Arsenal’s “collective hard work and brilliance” has given the Lagos state government the impetus to work on grassroot football.

The governor also received a signed jersey from the Arsenal forward.

Mr Sanwo-Olu, who is a staunch Arsenal fan, said he was proud of the Gunners’ run in the Premier League with a young and vibrant team.
Saka and his Arsenal side finished second behind Manchester City, qualifying for the first time in six years to play in the UEFA champions league next season.
