PDP’s G-5 group meet Tinubu, maintain stance on equity

The G-5 group, popularly known as Integrity Group, have visited President Bola Tinubu at the State House, Abuja.

The 5 governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is made up of the current Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, and former State Governors Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Samuel Ortom of Benue, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia.

Speaking with State House correspondents after the visit, Governor Makinde said their visit was to remind the President that their stance on fairness justice and equity had not changed.

He said the President needed to have multiple sources of information about situations in the country to prevent attempts at barricading him from knowing the truth.

Governor Makinde described nation-building as a “difficult and dynamic exercise”, saying that the President needed “sincere guidance” to succeed.
