We are ready for Champion’s League final’ – Guardiola

Manchester City’s manager Pep Guardiola has said that the team is ready to take on Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final on Sunday at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, according to the official website of Manchester City.

Manchester City already had a successful domestic season. They have won the Premier League title and the FA Cup this season.

Now, Pep Guardiola’s side will be looking to complete their treble having won two titles already.

Guardiola said, “Italian teams are 0-0 and think they are winning. They are not winning it is 0-0. We have to be stable and get the rhythm and be stable.”

City are looking to complete a remarkable treble by winning the Champions League for the first time in their history, after retaining the Premier League title and then beating Manchester United 2-1 in last weekend’s FA Cup final thanks to two Ilkay Gundogan goals.

The goals of Erling Haaland, who has scored 52 in all competitions since joining City from Borussia Dortmund, have helped elevate Guardiola’s side to new heights this season.

He added, “In bad moments we need to step forward. It will happen. 1-0 down or 1-0 up so in both circumstances be stable.”

The Norwegian did not score in either leg of the semi-final against Madrid and has not found the net in his last four appearances, which constitutes a veritable goal drought for such a prolific player.
