Barnaby Webber and Grace Kumar are the two students killed during the attack
Two teenage students and an older man were murdered in a series of attacks that shook the city of Nottingham.
Barnaby Webber, 19, Grace Kumar, 19, were identified as the two teenagers fatally stabbed but the man in his 50s has not been formally identified by the police.
The BBC said the deadly episode unfolded in less than two hours as Police were called out to Ilkeston Road and sometime after the body of the man whose van was apparently stolen was found with knife wounds in Magdala Road, just under two miles from the scene of the first two killings.
The van was driven into three people waiting at a bus stop on Milton Street in the city Centre while one of those injured is still in the hospital and battling for his life just as the other two were lucky to escape with minor injuries.
The suspect has been apprehended on suspicion of murder.
Nottingham Police said they were still in the early stages of the investigation and had yet to determine an exact motive.
