The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, has suspended it ongoing strike on Friday.
The President of the Association, Dr Emeka Innocent Orji who disclosed this to newsmen in Abuja said work across all hospitals would resume 8am on Saturday.
He said the Association would review progress made in two weeks.
The suspension is coming after the Association’s meeting with the National Executive Council NEC, early this week.
The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors had declared a indefinite strike action on July 25, 2023, over several demands including an increase in wages for doctors.
