UNILAG slashes school, hostel fees

The Management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the reduction of school fees and downward review of hostel fees.

This is coming after a meeting between the representatives of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and UNILAG Management on Thursday.

During the meeting chaired by the University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Folasade Ogunsolat, NANS President, Comrade Usman Barambu demanded reversal of school and hostel fees, as well as the reinstatement of Students Union Government in UNILAG.

The University on its X handle said the decision to reduce the tuition is geared towards delivering quality education to its students regardless of class, tribe or creed.

Utility Charges for all categories of students was reduced to N15,000:00 from N20,000:00.
