Lagos govt delegation visits Mohbad’s family

The Lagos State Government has promised to take care of of the late Afrobeat sensation, Mohbad child’s upbringing.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who stated this on his X handle on Tuesday said the delegation was led by his Deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat and other top officials of his cabinet.

Earlier, the Governor invited the Department of State Services (DSS) to join the Police to unravel the mystery behind the death of the 27-year old music star who died on Tuesday last week.

Mohbad’s death has since been generating reactions from Nigerians most of whom have called for concrete investigation what led to his death.

The Police, in a swift reaction has also set up a committee to find the cause of his death and find those allegedly behind his death.
