The attack on the polytechnic comes days after students of Federal University of Gusau were abducted by bandits
Three students of Nasarawa Polytechnic have been injured, and one other is missing, following a gun attack on an off-campus hostel belonging to the school.
The Nasarawa State Police Command said it received a distress call at 10:30 p.m. on Monday.
Ramhan Nansel, the command spokesman, confirmed that the four victims were students of the Polytechnic who reside outside the campus; one student sustained gunshot wounds.
He said a fourth person, named Jumoke, was ascertained missing after police returned to the scene of the robbery.
He, however, assured the public that the command has begun an investigation into the case to ensure the safe return of the missing student.
